Hi guys,
I have downloade the latest version of the intel fortran compiler for 64bit. The I have received the email with the file.lic. I have then copy all of them to another machine (which does not have internet connection) and when I type the license full path I get this error message:
Invalid license file
Please make sure that the file you provided at home/user/NCOM.lic is a valid license file with active support for the Intel product you are trying to install. If you are installing on a native-language system other than English, please make sure that the full path to the license file uses only English characters.
what it is wrong?
thanks in advance
andrea

Check to make sure that the NCOM.lic file has one or more lines that start with FEATURE and that there are no other characters on the line before FEATURE (or PACKAGE). Make sure that line terminators are correct for your OS. "cat" the file to make sure it displays ok for you. If you copied the file from a Windows system, you may need to convert the line terminators.

any other hints?

At this point I would ask that you contact Intel Premier Support, as this forum is not appropriate for resolving license issues. Please attach to your report the license file you are using.
