I am going to run a user customized model in Aspen PlusV8.4 which I have customized the user subroutine FORTRAN code, created .obj file and .dll file as well as .opt file. But when I add the dlopt file in the linker option I will get *.opt missing error when running example file within Aspentech folder even though both the *.opt and *.dll files are provided in the same folder as working file. I have 64-bit OS Windows 7 plus Intel Paralle studio XE2016, Visual Studio 2015 and Aspen Plus V8.4.
Is there anyone who have had the same problem before or can help me with this problem?
Thanks!

I suggest you talk to AspenPlus support about this. I don't know what a .opt file is for.

Hello. Did you solve the problem? I have a similar problem, the differences is the error message says the *.dll file is missing instead of the .opt
