I have fort version 19.1 installed on my own personal Mac. I have been using it with no problems, but
now I want to debug some code and when I run gdb-ia I get Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>

Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>

Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]

Python path configuration:

PYTHONHOME = (not set)

PYTHONPATH = (not set)

which tells me I need to install python. However I don't know how to do that. I downloaded m_pythoni3_p_2020.1.893.tar but

it just unwraps into a directory with some scripts, no automatic install so I don't know what to do at this point.
