v7.1 -ipo questions

Are there any known problems with -ipo on v7.1? (Build 20040713Z)
I get different results when compiling with -ip (correct results) and -ipo.

Is there a way to debug this, or aternatively to restrict -ipo to certain files and/or modules to see where the problem is?

Thanks!

ps. I can't use v8 because it has some bugs that break by code

Have you tried the latest 8.1? Have you reported the problems to Premier Support? 7.1 is a long time ago for us.... I don't see a problem with not using -ipo on selected files, though.
