Perf Markers

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck getting the perf marker names in a capture from UE4?

I haven't used GPA in a while, but I'm sure it used to work.

Captures are working fine aside from everything being a nameless draw call.

Thanks!

Rich

Hello Rich,

did you type ToggleDrawEvents into the UE4 console?

Rich,

Perf. markers should be available and show up in GPA with no additional work needed. What version of GPA are you using? Could you send the "About Info" for your machine found when you select this button in the UI: icon.png

Hi Giselle,

Thanks for the reply. Here is the info from GFA on my machine (we have the issue team-wide, but our machines are quite similar).

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Fabio,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have not. I'll give it a try as soon as I can, and update the thread.

Although I should mention capturing the same application in RenderDoc or NVidia Graphics I do get all the perf markers without using that toggle.

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Rich,

Are you able to share this title with me in a private message to verify the bug on my end?

Thanks Giselle and Fabio! ToggleDrawEvents worked. I'm not sure how we get markers in other profiling tools without it, but I'll take it!
