SDE fails to run a process

Hello,

  I'm running SDE 7.49 on a machine with the following characteristics

  # uname -a

  Linux login3 3.0.101-0.35-default #1 SMP Mon Oct 31 15:43:41 CET 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  # grep "model name" /proc/cpuinfo 

  model name      : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz

  but when I try to submit the following command, then SDE fails

   # /opt/intel/sde/7.8.0/sde64 -- /bin/ls

   Killed

   E: Attach to pid 20906 failed: No such file or directory

  Any idea on what might be wrong or what can be checked?

Hi Harold

Since you are intel employee can you please send a mail to sde-dev ?

The error you get is very strange since you do not do attach.

Can you please add -echo knob to SDE?
