pln opcode missing in Intel Iris Xe Graphics code gen

Hi ,

I used PIX tool to capture frames and check out the generated code on both Intel Iris Xe Graphics (11th gen Intel core-i5)and Intel UHD Graphics for 10th generation.
There is an opcode "pln" which is found in code generated on  UHD graphics but is missing in code generated on Iris Xe for the same cature.

Why is that?
