Regarding Intel(R) IPP ICV library statically, which is one of the third parties of Open-CV,

  1. Is a third party OSS used?
  2. What does third-party OSS include?

https://cdrdv2-public.intel.com/749362/intel-simplified-license-software-october-2022.pdf

According to the PDF above, a list of third-party OSS is listed in "third-party-software.txt", but this text file itself could not be found.

Thank you.

Hi Tastsuro,

IPP-ICV license relate question, please refer to this:

IPP-CV is a subset of IPP product. Please review all the licensing agreements listed under Intel’s most commonly used End User License Agreements (“EULA”) for the Intel® Software Development Tools and other software development products, including commercialization and redistribution under, Intel Simplified Software License, which is applicable to Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives and review OpenCV licenses too.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/license/end-user-license-agreement.html

We recommend consulting with your own legal team to help you with this process.

Ruqiu

Hi Ruqiu,

Thank you for your reply.
We have verified the matter internally.

It seems that "Intel(R) IPP ICV library statically" has around 50 OSS as below!
Which of these OSS does opencv-python use?

Thank you.

Hi Tastsuro,

IPP doesn't support python directly currently, please ask help from OpenCV channel for opencv-python.

Regards,

Ruqiu
