Alternative for ippiSSIM_32f_C1R

Hi,

Function ippiSSIM_32f_C1R and others was excluded from the latest versions of IPP without any supposed alternative. Can you tell, why it was performed, what can be used instead?

Hi Georgy,
One option is using the functions from Intel IPP legacy library,  https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-ipp-legacy-libraries
By checking the formula with the ippiSSIM_32f_C1R.  It is just combining several Image Arithmetic functions.  so a better way may just use several IPP Image arithmetic to replace the functions, and it can take advantage of the latest optimization.
