In another thread, Intel's "new book" Optimizing Applications for Multi-Core Processors is mentioned. This is interesting, but I am not aware of an edition newer than that of 2007, see https://www.amazon.com/Optimizing-Applications-Multi-Core-Processors-Performance/dp/1934053015
Also, the link to the book on this page https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/optimization-techniques-for-intel-multi-core-processors.html seems to be broken. Can someone of Intel please clarify ? And, if there is no up-to-date edition, is the book available for download as PDF ?

Hello Adriaan van Os,
Just try the link https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/optimization-techniques-for-intel-multi-core-processors.html, it works well in my end. Could you check the link again.
Currently, we haven't provide free download link for the book. While we will think about it if more customers have the same requirement. Would you mind raise this request through online service center: https://supporttickets.intel.com/servicecenter?lang=en-US

Ruqiu

Thanks for the reply, but the link https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/optimization-techniques-for-intel-multi-core-processors.html doesn't seem to be about the same book. It merely refers the book in the bibliography. And that link again is broken.
Besides, the page is about "Taking Advantage of Parallelism" which is what IPP no longer does.
