Filtering example doesn't stay open

The "filtering" example builds fine to my pocket PC but when I click on the icon it opens and closes IMMEDIATELY. I'm downloading in ARM4 Release mode onto a HP rz1710 device. All library files have been included.

Can someone please let me know what I can do to get the executable working fine.
