H263+ and H263++ Support

Hi guys

I know supporting these additional Annexes has been mentioned a few times. Has anyone added this support or knows anyone who has modified the IPP libraries to support these additional annexes?

Has intel provided this service for another client? If yes who would I need to speak to?

Hi,

Yes, Intel does provide ample support for most of the H.263 Annexes. Take a look at the UMC audio-video framework as part of the IPP samples and its H.263 decoder (& encoder, if you need that). The IPPI documentation lists the IPP functions related to H.263 codec handling in Chapter 16 on 'Video Coding'. You will have to download+install IPP and the samples to get the information. This should get you in the right direction, I assume...
