I see on mpegla.com and vialicensing.com that encoder/decoders need to pay by number of programs sold or audio/video item sold. We are bit unsure of what is the case with IPP.

Do we need to buy any license of them if we make encoder using IPP? H264 doesnt say anything about encoder, they talk about the subscription and many programs, but in case of AAC, they want royaltee on each program that you sell. Now do we need to take encoder AAC License from vialicensing.com ? Intel is already listed as Licensor.

Many of the IPP technologies require a patent license. The follosingcompany is one of the better options for acquiring needed licenses:

Depending on distributionvolume and nature of your product, license costs can be surprisingly low.
