I'm trying to put together an order and trying to determine if floating licenses will work for us. So far I have not been able to find any information on when a license is checked out when using IPP. We frequently do field testing where we would not have access to a license server, but still need to be able to compile and run code using IPP. Mainly we want to use IPP to speed up code written for OpenCV.
Any information you could provide about how floating licenses work with IPP would be appreciated.

Hi,
Intel IPP floating licenses are checked out during installation. Floating licences for Intel IPP are intended to accompany the use of floating licences for the Intel Compilers, i.e. a developer using the floating licence for Intel IPP is assumed to be doing so while using a floating licence for the Intel Compiler.
Thanks,
