IPP MPEG-4 Thread Safe

I'm considering purchasing the Intel IPP 4.0 for Linux package. I understand that there is an MPEG-4 example that is either included or is available on the premier site. Does anyone happen to know any details about the MPEG-4 example code? Is it in library form or application form? If it is in library form is it thread safe?

Mike

Hi Mike,
The IPP sample are available in source code form, so you can compile them and see how to use IPP functions in each particular area.
But,what hw platform you are interested? We have MPEG4 decoder sample for linux on XScale, but we have only win32 MPEG4 codec sample on IA side.

Vladimir
