actually we are installing IPP in linux(fedora 9) environment. We successfully unzipped the tar file containing the ipp package by referring the IPP install guide. After that while running the command ./install.sh we got the error
ERROR: This script installs Intel Performance Libraries and related products and should be called from general install script. Exiting...

Hello,
The package structure is (this is 6.0 IA32 example)
l_ipp_ia32_p_6.0.1.072/
install.sh (this file should be called for instalation)
cd_eject.sh
some text files (EULA, RN etc)
pset/
l_ipp_ia32_p_6.0.1.072/
install.sh (internal install.sh)
It looks you are trying to start internal script. Could you start the proper one?
Thank you,
- Nikolay
