The Intel Developer Products Division invites you to participate in the Intel IPP 7.0 beta program. To meet our goal of releasing a high-quality product to our customers, we need an active group of testers willing to provide valuable feedback to our product team. Your input is critical to the success of our product. We are especially interested in your feedback on the key features listed below.

Please review the IPP 7.0 readme file for details on changes and updates.

Key Features

  • Intel AES-NI optimizations for cryptography.
  • Additional optimizations for the 256-bit AVX instruction set.
  • New data compression support for lzopack.
  • Improved data compression performance.
  • Visual Studio 2010 integration.
  • New JPEG-XR (HD Photo) codecs.
  • Up to 6x speedup for the UIC JPEG codec on 8-core systems.


Registration and Download

  1. Review the Intel IPP 7.0 Beta system requirements.
  2. Click here to begin the registration process.
  3. Provide a valid email address, installation instructions will be sent to the email address you provide.
  4. Click the submit button to obtain a serial number and URL to download the beta.
  5. To access the Intel IPP 7.0 Beta cryptography library, you must request access from Intel. You will receive a response within 48 hours.

Beta Support and Feedback

Submit problem reports, usage questions and general feedback to the Intel IPP User Forum, this forum is monitored by other IPP developers and Intel engineers.

At the end of beta program a survey will be sent out to all participants. The survey will ask you questions about your targeted platform, function and sample code usage and Intel IPP product and documentation quality.
