My question is addressing to Intel's representatives. Can you tell us something about plans of IPP evolution? What is the major features Intel going release in next IPP versions? Is there any plan to use Intel GMA GPU to perform some IPP functions? What about Larabee?

Hello,
With further evolution of Intelarchitecture we will continue our enabling effort by supporting the latest Intelhardware innovations in different Intel software tools and products, including IPP.
Currently there is no plan to support Intel integrated graphics in IPP. ButIPP team is workingon Larrabee support. It is too early to announce Larrabee related products but basically IPP might be available as a native Larrabee library, meaning you may call IPP functions directly from your Larrabee native code.
We also think on heterogeneous performance tools which in case of Larrabee may include IPP high level libraries like DMIP (it is available in IPP 6.0 releasewith host processor support).
Regards,
Vladimir
