Performance: In-place vs regular

Hi

Is there a difference in computation speed between e.g. ippsFIR_16s_Sfs and ippsFIR_16s_ISfs, i.e. regular compared to in-place operation?

Hello,
I think in-place operations faster (better data locality). You may check real data with IPP performance system found at IPP/tools/perfsys/data folder of your IPP installation folder
