Problem with the simple player example

Hello,

I have compiled the simple player with VS2005. It compiles and links well.

I try, then to play an mpeg4 file with it. It show me the console with the informations of the display of the video.

But, the window that normally display the video does not appear.

Please help.

the reason might be corrupted stream or not supported file format.

I tried to play the file with VLC and it plays it without problem. Also, an other version of simple palyer (downloaded from internet-Not compiled by me-) plays the file.

An other thing: the simple player that i generate plays the audio without video.

the problem is really not clear.

As I said the problem might be either corrupted file or not supported file format. I'm glad to hear that VLC can play this file, might be they support more formats. For example, as far as I know they support Matroska container which is not supported in UMC. There are might be some others.
