Running ipp 5.0 on Windows 98 OS

Hi,
We are thinking of using ipp 5.0 in our next software. Our development platform is Visual 2005 on Windows XP OS. Some of our customers are still using Windows 98 OS, will they be able to run our software with the ipp 5.0 inside it?
Thanks,
Giora

Hi Giora,

We do not test IPP on Windows98 since IPP v3.0. You can find list of supported platforms in release notes for every IPP release. But due to the fact that IPP is set of low-level primitive functions and does not use any OS specific API (exceptionis only malloc/free) it should be able to work on Windows98.

Regards,
Vladimir
