I have a Xeon w/ HT .I downloaded the Itanium package and compiled
the g729 sample .
I tested it with ITU test vectors for bit compliancy.
Looks like with VAD enabled it is not bit compliant even though the
doc claims that it is bit-compliant.
Am I doing anything wrong.?
I am using the following command line option
encoder729i.exe -rA -v -n tstseq1.bin tstseq1_ia.bit
the g729 sample .

Intel IPP 4.x g729ab codec is b2b compliant toG729a v.1.3 (TV729B13).Your file is most probably taken from v.1.2. For difference between G729 v.1.2 and v.1.3 see for example the G729a v1.3 readmefile (attached).
