h264 - Inter-Intra frame encoding Support

UMC reference manual doesnt have examples for usage of Inter-Inra frame encoding in h264 . How can I use the parameters so that UMC can provide a quality baseline encoding. Can any one suggest good documentation that will help to input an optimum encoding parameter set to be used in a video conferencing application.

Hi,

In the encoding parameters, you can set the interval of I frames, Number of B frames between I (or P) and next P, etc. These parameters can be used to set the I/B/P frame intervals.

You can aslo set key_frame_controls.method=o in the encoding parameters, to suggest the decoder to decide if it is I/P frames.
