KapPro Assure on Intels Multicore x64 architecture

Hello,

is it right that the OpenMP analyse-tool "KapPro Assure" does not support the new Intel architectures (like for example Intels Core 2 duo). Because i took a look the homepage ( http://www.intel.com/software/products/kappro/downloads.htm) and i didnt find a version for the new inte plattforms.

if i am right: why intel dont produce this tool for the new plattforms? Is the reason that Intel has now new and better tools (like Intel's Thread Checker and Thread Profiler)???

Yes, Thread Checker is the successor product to Assure, since long before the advent of the x86-64 architecture.
