NUC7I7BNH unable to install new network driver

For some time, the Intel® Driver and Support Wizard has been trying to install a new network driver. Unfortunately, it does not succeed. The current version is: 12.18.9.2, Installed version: 12.18.8.9

 

Even if the driver is deleted, the old driver installs after a reboot.

  1. Download the latest driver https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28965/Intel-Gigabit-Ethernet-Network-Connection-Driver-for...
  2. Disconnect the internet.
  3. Uninstall the old driver from Device Manager. Check the Delete option while uninstalling.
  4. Install the latest driver previously downloaded from Intel.
  5. Reconnect the internet and reboot your computer.

Hello David V, The new driver is installed. Unfortunately I can not answer in the forum because of a problem with the login. With my regular login there are problems, Intel is working on it. Therefore, I have created another account and posted the driver problem. Even with this new login I can not log in anymore. King regards Hermann
