I bought an Intel Optane Memory to install it on my Asus Maximus IX Hero motherboard. I updated my BIOS to the last and required version, did the installation on the M2.2 port 2X, did the BIOS configurations requiered, but when i tried to install the "SetupOptaneMemory" file, it says my BIOS isn't corrected set.
What can I do?

Hello RFBertelli,
Please try the following:
Boot to your UEFI BIOS > switch to Advanced Mode (F7) > open the Advanced tab > open the Onboard Devices Configuration >
1. Toggle M.2_1 to [PCIE Mode] or [Auto].
2. Press F10 to save changes, power your system down, and switch Optane™ Memory module to this slot (M.2_1).
It's possible that M.2_2 isn't an Optane™ Memory ready slot, however, the documentation available for your motherboard isn't entirely clear on this.
Best regards,
Carlos A.

Hello RFBertelli,
Your Optane™ Memory module must have been detected at some point previously, otherwise we would have received this error from the begining and the instalation would have never gotten far enough to encounter the issues that we've corrected so far.
From our end, there are no further suggestions that can be made for this situation. Our best recommendation will be to engage your motherboard manufacturer directly (ASUS*), and let us know the outcome or if anything changes so that we may continue assisting you if needed.

Hello RFBertelli,
We understand and share your frustration.
With the troubleshooting and settings that we have provided, you should be able to simply activate system acceleration at this point. We've already confirmed that everything is set correctly from our end. However, the fault at this point falls with your motherboard or BIOS, which refuses to detect our memory as installed through the Intel® Chipset (which both your M.2 slots use).
This may be a simple fix, but only your motherboard manufacturer may be able to help, since they're the experts when it comes to their product.
Please check with them, and let us know if they're able to provide the assistance needed.
Best regards,
Carlos A
