Carte Optane 32 Gb 80 mm non reconnue

Bonjour,

Je souhaite faire tourner un serveur supermicro X10SDV-F avec une distribution linux à vocation audio (Daphile) montée sur une carte optane neuve dont j’ai fait l'acquisition.

Le système linux ne reconnait pas la carte, je tourne en liveusb en attendant.

Afin d’explorer la carte je l'ai branché sur un adaptateur usbc-m2 nvme

Comme mon laptop est en usb3.0 j'y ai ajouté un adaptateur usbc-usb3

Le pc reconnait la carte optane (bruit au branchement). Elle apparait en tant que "usb-pci bridge".

 

Je ne peut y accéder, je ne peux la formater, je ne peux rien en faire. Sous DOS avec diskpart, invisible. Sous windows, gestionnaire de disque, la carte apparait avec une croix rouge. propose d'initialiser le disque, mais ne peut le faire et annonce "echec de la requete du fait d'une grave erreur matérielle"...

 

Je suis bloqué et fait donc appel à vos compétences.

Hi Frederic,

Intel® Optane™ memory requires the Windows 10/11* 64-bit operating system and the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) driver software. Linux is not supported.

Please read the Optane Installation Guide for further explanation and requirements.

Thanks for the answer.

 

The trouble is that it is not working on my windows 10 LP (cf. screenshots), and I have a lot of audiophile's friends all around the world that are making it works on Daphile OS...

 

So, what am I considered to do ????

Hi Frederic,

Follow the recommendation from @Yogaeasvaran .  The SSU report will give report about the system configuration you are using.

Did you checked that the motherboard in you PC is Optane ready?

Did you followed the requirements and instruction in the Optane Installation Guide?

Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility


Run the SSU scan (check "Everything"), save the results and please attach to your post.

I read again your first post and I understand that you are trying to use optane while it is installed on an external adapter. If I have understood correctly your post, you should know that external adapters are not supported for Optane acceleration.
