I built a workstation with the MEMPEK1J064GA01 connected to a 10TB HHD.
The current build has Windows 10 which has the 2 to 3-year registry issues.
I decided to upgrade to Windows 11 and need advice considering the Optane has been d/c'd.
I am tempted to do a clean install of Windows 11 on the Optane, however, this could be a problem if it malfunctions and there is no support and/or replacement parts.
It seems the best solution is to file the Optane in "file 13" and use a different M.2 SSD which will limit me to 4TB.
Please provide guidance as to the best way to proceed and what else may be available for the workstation from Intel or other vendors that is faster and/or larger capacity than the Samsung Pro M.2.
Thank you!!
PS: I am on the WS Z390 PRO MB platform and the i9 12th gen.
