So I just got Optane M10 16Gb and trying to install to my pc which I know is definitely optane supported but it doesn't go well. The "SetupOptaneMemory.exe" straight up said "Unsupported Chipset" on a 400 series chipset.
Yes, I installed the latest chipset driver from the mobo manufacturer.
Yes, I enabled Intel RST SATA mode.
Yes, I have the latest mobo driver, it was released 4 years ago
and Yes, I have a HDD and SSD with more than enough space the optane could ever ask for.
Then you may ask, what about using RST program? doesn't work. It said no compatible disk pair or something.
System SSD is NVMe M.2 on M.2_1 slot
Optane is installed on M.2_2
Windows 11 Pro on the latest version
I will give up on using intel product if this doesn't get solved or fixed for all people.
This thing took half a day of me trying to diagnose and use. It bricked my PC twice, totalled for 6 hours. luckily system restore was able to save my pc
PLEASE FIX!

Download and install the setupRST program. This programs install the RST Drivers and downloads from Microsoft Store the Intel Optane™ Memory and Storage Management application. After installing this application, run it and enable Optane acceleration. Use this guide for help.
