Intel Optane y RAM

Tengo una laptop con 20 gb de memoria: 16 gb de intel optane + 4 gb DDR4 memoria

Mi laptop soporta hasta 32 gb de memoria ram ¿Solo puedo instalarle una de 8gb? ¿O la memoria Intel Optane es diferente a la memoria ram y puedo instalarle una de 16 gb?

No, you can replaced this 4GB of memory with anywhere up to 32GB.

Intel is (IMHO) incorrectly counting the Optane M10 Memory modules as normal memory; they cannot be used as normal memory so they should not be counted along with it. This is Marketing gone haywire.
