Opane H10 separate memory/NAND devices under Linux

I was able to source some 256GB H10 at a good price with the intent of using them in my NAS (TrueNAS Scale). The intention was to use the 16G 3D Xpoint segment as a ZFS ZLOG (as the performance characteristics, durability, and size perfectly match TrueNAS recommendations) and the "normal" SSD segment as a scratch drive for containers. The system does not have a chipset compatible with RST.

Reports of how the drive would be reported under Linux (Debian, kernel 6.6.44 in my case) differed but a majority stated that the two segments would be presented as separate block devices, which is exactly what I want. However, after receiving the drive (open box, may have been installed an initialized) it reports as a single 238.47 GiB volume and a single PCIe device:

After a bit of research I found indication that using an Intel management utility might allow me to alter the presented layout (to the best of my understanding this means it would disable any internal RST on the drive), however upon booting into some WinPE images I was not able to run either setupoptanememory (complains that chipset has no support) or MAS gui/cli (missing DLLs).

I understand that "proper" optane usage is only supported under Win10+ with compatible drivers etc. However there are many user reports of successful use in the pattern I describe. Is there any way for me to change the controller configuration such that I'd be able to access both extents?
