Will a thinkpad p71 with a xeon processor support optane memory?

Hello,

I recently bought a lenovo thinkpad p71 with an M2 ssd, and an HDD

the P71 comes with a xeon processor - Intel Xeon E3-1505M v6

i have been considering buying an optane drive 32gb to speed up the HDD

i have been unable to confirm if this laptop model/processor supports optane memory -

also, if it does, will it support the secondary drive

Kindly confirm

In order to confirm if your specific laptop model supports the Intel® Optane™ Memory, it's recommendable to contact the Lenovo* directly.

From the information of your processor and according to the information available in this article: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000026040/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-m... Software and Platform Support for Intel® Optane™ Memory , I'd say that your laptop won't support the module as this processor is not listed there, but it's better to contact Lenovo* directly for confirmation.
