Hello, Volodymyr.

Thank you for posting on the Intel Community Support forums.

Additionally to what has been mentioned by the community, please also note this is a NAND SSD, and this product line is no longer owned by Intel.

Intel®’s NAND Solid State Drive business was acquired by SK Hynix in November of 2020 and is now Solidigm™. Starting on October 1, 2022, all Technical and Warranty Support for NAND SSD products is provided directly by Solidigm™.

Please contact Solidigm Support directly so they can confirm what their warranty policy is for this type of drive:

The thread will be closed right now, and it will no longer be monitored by Intel support, but if you require any type of assistance from Intel in the future, just open a new thread, or contact us using any of the available support methods.

Best regards,

That is nice.   Have you told HP about this warranty?

No, your warranty was with HP, not Intel.

Let me restate that: If you SSD came with the PC/Laptop, then your only warranty is from HP. If the HP warranty has expired, you can check with HP to see whether HP offered a longer warranty for the SSD compared with the PC/laptop (but I do not believe that HP differentiated).

If, on the other hand, you added this SSD yourself, then you may have some warranty left. Check here: Determine if Your Product Is Still Under Warranty. If you do have some warranty left, you need to directly contact Intel Customer Support to initiate the RMA process (you cannot do this through the forums). You can start here: Contact Intel Support or use this page where you can directly look up local/country phone numbers: Intel Support Phone Directory. You can use the online forms service or email, but I actually recommend calling them directly. The above link provides local or toll-free numbers for most countries and these numbers support most local languages. You could also use the chat service (start here: Intel Customer Support Chat), but understand that this service is offered only in English and is subject to the normal (9:00-5:00 M-F) office hours in the Pacific (UTC-8) time zone.

Hope this helps,

...S
