I am using Quartus Prime Lite Edition (Linux) v16.1 on Terasic's DE10-Lite's MAX10 10M50DAF484C7G.
I would like to use Altera PLL IP library (QSys > IP Catalog > Basic Functions > Clocks: PLL and Adaptors > PLL > Altera PLL). However it seems greyed-out (disabled) for the DE10-Lite board. Avalon ALTPLL library is available though. I do not have another board, but it seems that the Altera PLL library becomes available when selecting another board. I have 2 questions : - could it be that the Altera PLL IP is only available for some boards and not others? In particular not available for DE10-Lite? - I have never used Altera PLL library, but would Avalon ALTPLL library be interchangeable with it? Thanks. https://alteraforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=15205&stc=1コピーされたリンク

Hi,
--- Quote Start --- - could it be that the Altera PLL IP is only available for some boards and not others? In particular not available for DE10-Lite? --- Quote End --- It is not based on boards, it's based on Device Family. It's not available for Max 10. --- Quote Start --- - I have never used Altera PLL library, but would Avalon ALTPLL library be interchangeable with it? --- Quote End --- Both have similar functionality check respective user guide.
