So I'm taking a ECE course, and I need to work on some labs. I installed the Quartus II software in Ubuntu, and when I start it up, I get this message:
--- Quote Start --- You successfully installed the Quartus II software, but did not install any devices. If you want to install device support, you must also run the 10.1_devices_linux.sh executable, which you can find on the Download Center of the Altera website. --- Quote End --- I went to to the "Download Center", and I spend an hour looking for that, and I didn't find it. Can somebody tell me where I can find that?Link Copied

Go to https://www.altera.com/download/software/quartus-ii-se (https://www.altera.com/download/software/quartus-ii-se)
You will see a "Quartus II Software (1 of 2)" and a "Device Family Files (2 of 2)" executable. You need to download and run the second one (Device Family Files). There is a 4GB limit on self-extracted EXE files, so going forward, you will need to download two files. Hope this Helps
