Critical Path with Timequest

Could someone kindly tell me what on earth I have to do to get a critical path report from timequest? All I want is to get a report like classic analyzer's and look at it in Technology Map Viewer. Please give basic guidelines, I'm a noob in this, and probably won't understand terms. Thanks.

Hi,

first you have to write a <>.sdc in order to define the required timings. For the internal timing at least the clocks must be defined, but you should also define the input and output delays. In case you have timing settings for the classic timing analyzer they could partly translated into a <>.sdc . Open TimeQuest -> Constraints -> "Generate SDC file from QSF".

Kind regards
