Cyclone V modelsim library

Hi all,

I need some help with the following problem that has arisen, and is that we need to launch gate level simulations for my designs in an FPGA of the Cyclone V family. The problem is that in order to launch this type of simulation is necessary, apart from the .vho file generated by Quartus, to use the Cyclone V Modelsim library, however, this library instantiates a component that is encrypted and written in Verilog (I only have a VHDL ModelSim license).

This instantiated component is inside the following file: cyclonev_atoms_ncrypt.v, does this file also exist in vhdl? If not, is there any workaround to solve this problem?

Which simulation tool are you using?
Try using our Questa Intel FPGA Edition Simulation tool to simulate it.

I am using ModeSim. Is it necessary to have a license to use Questa Intel FPGA Edition?

Yes, both Questa Intel FPGA Edition and Questa Intel FPGA Starter Edition requires a valid license to setup.

Questa*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition license is free and you can directly obtain it from the Intel® FPGA Self Service Licensing Center (SSLC).

Checkout this user guide on how to get the license for Starter Edition.
