Hi,
I am very new to using both Altera's tools and OpenCL. I have downloaded and flashed the image for the Terasic DE1-SoC OpenCL BSP from the Terasic website. However these images only seem to support kernels and host codes compiled on version 14 of Altera's tools. I have verified that OpenCL is working oon the board as I am able to run the boardtest and helloworld projects that are within the image. Is there anywhere online that I can download an SD card image for the DE1-SOC that is more up to date with 16.0 support? Or is their an option in the SDK to compile files for an older RTE? ThanksLink Copied

This might be an incorrect answer, but i am just trying to save you some time.
Download version 14.0 of the tools and build the application/kernel with it. I tried to hack around it but it did not seem to work. There is a more recent version of the linux image available at http://people.ece.cornell.edu/land/courses/ece5760/de1_soc/hps_peripherials/index.html ("LINUX 2016 image" link).
