Does Altera take the built in simulation tool back to Quartus?

The new version Quartus (higher than 9.1 if I am right) removes the build in simulation tool. Currently I am using 11.1 sp2 and I can't create .vwf file to do simulation.

But recently I found there is a tool name is Qsim, is this one new simulation tool comes from Altera and can support testbench simulation?

Thanks.

Hi, I always use ModelSim, I just wonder whether Altera provide Qsim, which is similar as Isim?

Yes, QSIM is a kind of replacement for the internal Quartus simulator. Why don't you simply review the description at altera.com and try the tool?

Thanks very much. Yes, I will. When I posted this yesterday, it seems I can't open Altera official website.
