Hi,
I'm performing several tests on the same board and I'm trying different configurations. Starting with a Quartus project (say named Test) I created with sopc builder a Nios system and a corresponding project in Nios IDE (say Test_Nios) Now the base design works but I want to duplicate it to enhance some features, still keeping the working one fully operational. No problem with Quartus: I can simply copy the whole directory. On the other hand Nios IDE doesn't like this, since it has already a Test_Nios project defined. So I must create a brand new project with a different name, add all source files, settings, etc, which is very annoying. I don't understand why Nios IDE must keep trace of all existent projects. Can I have in the "Nios II C/C++ projects" window ONLY those projects I really need? now I have ALL those I created so far! I'm used to other IDEs where a closed project becomes invisible and I can easily create multiple copies of it. But maybe I'm making something in the wrong way. Regards CrisLink Copied
