Error (209062): Flash Loader IP not loaded on device 0

I am trying to flash my pcie385n_a7 using "aocl flash hello_world_131_pcie385n_a7.aocx" The command never completes because of the following error(s): 

  Info: Command: quartus_pgm -c 1 flash.cdf Info (213045): Using programming cable "USB-Blaster [2-1.5]" Info (209060): Started Programmer operation at Tue Feb 18 16:08:03 2014 Error (209062): Flash Loader IP not loaded on device 0 Error (209053): Unexpected error in JTAG server -- error code 5 Error (209040): Can't access JTAG chain Error (209012): Operation failed Info (209061): Ended Programmer operation at Tue Feb 18 16:08:04 2014 Error: Quartus II 64-Bit Programmer was unsuccessful. 4 errors, 0 warnings Error: Peak virtual memory: 1694 megabytes Error: Processing ended: Tue Feb 18 16:08:04 2014 Error: Elapsed time: 00:00:07  Running "quartus_pgm -c USB-Blaster -a" gives this output:  Info: Command: quartus_pgm -c USB-Blaster -a Info (213045): Using programming cable "USB-Blaster [2-1.5]" 1) USB-Blaster [2-1.5]  Unable to read device chain (JTAG chain broken)   I have checked over the usb blaster connections and they seem to correctly connected.   Am I missing something or is JTAG chain actually broken?

I bungled connecting the break-out board to the FPGA. I have now done it properly and aocl flash works like a chram.

Hey what do you mean by break-out board? 

Did you really have to setup the hardware again and stuff like that?   Greetings

 Have a look at the PDF attached to this thread http://www.alteraforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41749 That should help you identify the breakout board for the PCIe-385N.  Thanks, G

Hi thank you for the information, 

 This may not be the problem because from another PC it works fine. I am intern at a resarch center where some other student works also on the FPGA , he has no problems - but I have.  So, any other ideas?  Or could it still be the break-out board but somehow this error only occurs me?
