Hi guys,
I am relatively new to the Altera FPGA boards. I am using a Cyclone II board. I created a NIOS II system using qsys and I created a project in Quartus (version 13.0) as per the tutorials. However, upon compiling I get error messages of the following type. "Error (204009): Can't generate netlist output files because the license for encrypted file "C:/..../nios_qsys/synthesis/submodules/nios_qsys_nios2_processor.v" is not available" I am using a web edition of quartus II. Any ideas on how to get the license and get rid of these messages? Thanks Chetan.Link Copied

You can either switch your Nios CPU to the II/e version, which doesn't require a license, or disable the netlist output, that you probably don't require. To disable the netlist output, go to the project settings, EDA Tool Settings, and verify that all the tools and formats are set to "<None>"
