Hello forum,
I am trying to simulate NativeLink using VCSMX or VCS.
The compilation was successful and the simulation file "./simv" was generated.
I wanted to debug with GUI using Verdi, but this was not possible because I could not add the option of "elaboration".
Is there a way to separate the "Additional custom siumulation elaboration options" in the following image for simulation and elaboration?
Or is it possible to set the options by editing the cui or tcl file?
Please let me know if there is a better way.

Hi there, I'm not quiet understand your issue. If you are using VCS to do simulation, It should be no need to use Quartus.

I want to use VCS for simulation of NativeLink flow including IP for Quartus.
VCS is supported by NativeLink, right? I would like to know about the options for this.
Are you saying that using VCS with Nativelink is deprecate?

I see, from the information I have currently, this option should not affect your simulation.
When using vcs, we usually use the script generated by quartus and should add custom options to it manually.
You can check the following information first: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683102/23-1/sourcing-synopsys-vcs-simulator-setup.html
And the following AXI simulation flow (page 686 Synopsys VCS Simulation)may also be helpful:
I'm also investigating on this, if any question please let me know.

Yes, I usually do the same.
