License Corruption

Wondered if anyone has run into a similar problem. I am running QII 9.0. I have 2 licenses for 2 machines. The issue appeared identically on both machines at the same time.

All has been fine and stable for years. I recently made 2 changes. First, I upgraded to Win Vista x64 SP 1. This ran without issue for about 3 weeks. The latest change (yesterday)was to upgrade QII 9.0 to SP1.

Immediately after the QII SP1 upgrade, new HW additions in NIOS were not showing up. A quick investigation showed I was now generating time limited .sof files while I was loading the old .sof. In QII, License Setup... it showed I had somehow lost my NIOS license (on both machines). A hex/text editor would now only open the license files in hex mode, not the normal text mode - implying some sort of corruption. Restoration of the license files from backups seems to have fixed the problem.

Any one else have these issues?
