Hello!
I'm using CentOS 5.3 with Quartus 9.0. Works fine so far. My PC has 2 NICs onboard. Quartus shows me only the first Ethernet MAC address (eth0) in the manage license dialog and therefore only the license.dat file with this MAC address is recognised correctly. In MS Windows I see all my network adapters there and all of the MAC addresses are usable for licensing. Unfortunately the MAC address for the Altera license is on eth1. Why isn't Quartus able to show both NICs in Linux? Of course a workaround would be to swap the network interface in linux system setup but that's not the way a tool should work.Link Copied

I second this...sentiment. At the very least, this is _very_ lame behavior. At worst, it's just plain stupid.
