LogicLock warning

I keep getting the warning:

Feature LogicLock is only available with a valid subscription license. Please purchase a software subscription to gain full access to this feature.

How do I get rid of it? Do I need to get rid of it?

I'm using the Web version of Quartus II V9.1

Thanks,

Gary

You don't need to get rid of it. However, in Quartus click "Assignments->LogicLock Regions Window". Once the window opens, delete any logiclock regions in your designs other than the "Root Region".

I've just tried jakob's solution, but it doesn't work because the window doesn't open because I've only got web edition.

So how do I turn it off?

hi michael,

you might start a new thread, but in the quartus/bin directory there is a quartus binary which starts Quartus II.

My conclusion is that you have to live with the error. You just get used to it after a while.

It's a Warning, not an Error, so you can ignore it since you're not using the LogicLock feature. You can suppress this message so it only appears in your Suppressed Messages by right-clicking it in your Warning/Critical Warning box, Suppress->Suppress Exact Selected Messages. You can Hide or Suppress any of your Compilation Messages this way.
