Messages Window

Hi Everyone 

 I'd like to initiate a discussion on the overall use and usability of the Messages window in the Quartus II software GUI.   What features do you use the most in the Messages window?   What functionality would you like to see?   Would you like a feature that filters out certain kinds of messages based on type, rather than sorting them in to tabs?   Excited to hear everyone's feedback!

There was a discussion about warning messages yesterday on this forum. I think one missing feature is the ability to filter out all the warnings that come from Altera's or third party's IP, so that we are able to concentrate on those generated by our own code.
