[ModelSim] Signal Names -> Hierarchical Path + others

Hi All,

Is it possible to set different hierarchical length for the signals in the Waves window of ModelSim?

For example, as for signal 'A', I want to see its full hierarchical path in the Waves window while for signal 'B' I want to see just it's name... Is it possible to do this setting?

Once I hover with a mouse over a signal name, should it show me a full signal hierarchical path?

Thank you!

By default you get the hierarchical name displayed. So, that's signal 'A' sorted.

For signal 'B', in the wave window, double-click on a signal and enter 'just it's name' (or anything else meaningful) in the 'Display Name' box. Then you will only see it's local name without any hierarchical info.

Cheers,

Alex
