Hi,
I just installed the latest copy of ModelSim-Altera 10.4b, I am facing an issue which I am unable to resolve. When I try to launch ModelSim, the attached screenshot shows up, but after that ModelSim application won't start. ModelSim used to start normally earlier, but this problem somehow came, and now I am unable to start ModelSim. To solve this I reinstalled ModelSim, which is my current version. But the same problem persists. I checked for any modelsim.exe process in task manager, but no such process was running. I also added exception for ModelSim and its files in Windows Defender, fearing it might be clashing with the operation. But none these things worked. Is there any other way I can Launch ModelSim application. The only thing that comes is the attached screenshot and then nothing starts. Can someone please help. Modelsim isn't yet supported in windows 10. Check the vendor website of all your tools before upgrading Windows. Each tool will have a supported operating system list. Take this seriously.

Take this seriously. --- Quote End --- Sorry for being unclear. I actually had a running ModelSim on Windows10 since past few days. And this problem started maybe after an windows update or something. After which I tried to reinstall the ModelSim again to solve the problem, but the problem persists even after the fresh reinstall. Also since Windows support legacy things, I was hoping there was some trick to make it run on Windows 10.
