Problems with ADA Utility Program

Hey Guys,

I'm completly new with fpgas and so on so excuse me if I would write stupid things.

Well I got an Altera DE2-115 Board with an Cyclone 4 FPGA and a Altera terasIC THDB-ADA_HSMC Board.

I just wanted to try out the demo program "Waveform Generator".

-First I tried the quartus 2 program and it worked fine. I just have some problems to find the right things but I think that would come with time.

-After this, I wanted to try out the ADA Utility program. First I got some Errors about missing dlls(fyi: I use Windows 7, 32 bit). I copied the dll into the order

and it worked. Now I wanted to start the ADA Utility but everytime I got the follwing error message:

--'1.000' is not a floating point value--

This message pops up everytime. When I press ok, than it tries to connect but it doens't work. I got no error message but I got no output on my oscilloscope.

So, do I anything wrong? Or has someone a tip for me?

Thanks a lot!

Mary
